Seven Crore) received from the ministry, To stand with support for students in pursuing Ph.D. in different fields this scholarship is offered on a merit basis to help them in achieving their dreams a fund will be provided, students of Indian citizens, as well as nationals of other Asian countries, are eligible for this scholarship, this scholarship aims to support students to explore new possibilities and to become a valuable addition to pursue their dreams in their chosen field, till 2017 a total of 688 scholarships were awarded.

To avail of the benefits of PFMS scholarship, candidates need to register for the schemes, and the registration procedure is explained below, a candidate should meet the below-mentioned criteria
The candidate should hold a First-Class Post-graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in both graduate and postgraduate level,
The candidate should not be above 35 years of age,
The candidate must be a full-time Ph.D. Scholar,
Candidate should already be registered/admitted for a Ph.D. degree with a recognized University/Institution in India,
If a candidate has applied for registration and has not yet been registered at the time of submission of application, is not eligible to apply.

The duration of the scholarship is 2 years
JNMF Scholarship Rewards
The following benefits are provided to the candidate after meeting the eligibility criteria by JNMF scholarship, this will help in regard to students in poor financial condition and can achieve their dreams from this scholarship
Maintenance allowance and tuition fee included – Rs. 18,000 per month
Expenses eligible for study tours within India, including the purchase of books, stationery, etc – Rs. 15,000 per annum
JNMF Scholarship Application Process

JNMF Scholarship Documents Required
Candidates should ensure that correct documents must be provided as per the requirement to avoid any difficulties in processing the application after submission
A passport size photo must be pasted to the application form
A brief summary about the proposed project as per the attached file
A recommendation of doctorial monitoring committee report/superiors report
A demand draft/postal draft must be raised for an amount of Rs.100
Ph.D. registration certificate must be enclosed
JNMF Scholarship Selection Process
After receipt of the application, the selection committee decides to call upon a candidate for an interview/select a candidate for the scholarship will be final. No middle man/representative is entertained, any contravention will be strictly punished under the law.
